BIOGRAPHY
Penny is a 30-year veteran of start-ups. In 1995 she developed the character of Jeeves, and became the Chief Creative Officer for Ask Jeeves, overseeing the brand globally. After that, she wanted to focus locally and started a small chain of chocolate cafes in the Bay Area. She branded and designed a chain of cannabis dispensaries after that in MA. In 2019 she became SVP of Marketing at Sensory Cloud, a Boston based start-up where she developed the brand, led fundraising and managed sales channels for FEND a product developed by Bob Langer of Moderna and the CEO of Sensory Cloud. It was there that she met Tom Devlin, the inventor of “pads on a roll”. The common thread may be that she loves venturing into new industries or products. Education: MFA, Columbia University, and Princeton University undergrad.
