INDA Lifetime Service Award Recipient
The INDA Lifetime Service Award is given to individuals who have a long-established record of service to INDA, specifically, and the Nonwovens Industry as a whole. Recipients of this award have maintained an active partnership with INDA. This individual would have held a key role in planning and executing the long-term success of at least one of INDA's major events or services. This person is an avid supporter and spokesperson for the nonwovens industry. In summary, the Lifetime Service Award is given to the individual who has given his or her best both personally and professionally to the service of INDA and the Industry.
Prior to his retirement, Carl Cucuzza served as President and Managing Partner of Teknoweb North America, a leading supplier of converting equipment for wet and dry wipes, facemasks, and other disposable products. He also co-founded Hot Melt Supply Company with his son, providing service and support for adhesive applications in the disposables, product assembly, and packaging industries.
Earlier in his career, Carl was General Manager of Newco Enterprises, Inc. and Global Sales and Marketing Manager for the Nonwovens Systems Group at Nordson Corporation. In that role, he led North American and European sales efforts for disposables producers and coordinated hot melt systems sales and support for a major producer’s global baby diaper expansion throughout the 1990s.
Carl has been deeply involved in the nonwovens and disposables industry for more than three decades. He is a past board member of INDA and has served as an organizing committee member, moderator, and presenter at Vision, WOW, Hygienix, and other leading industry conferences. His contributions have been recognized with the State of Georgia Award for Product Development and Management Excellence, along with seven patents for machinery and processes in disposable product manufacturing. He has also published technical papers and articles, provided consulting expertise, and served as an expert witness in the field.
Originally from Bradford, PA, Carl now resides in Monroe, GA, with his wife of 47 years, Toni. They are proud parents of four children and grandparents of four.

BIOGRAPHY
Carl Cucuzza is the President and Managing Partner of Teknoweb North America in Loganville, Georgia. Teknoweb is an Italian-based company that designs and manufactures machines for the production and packaging of wet wipes, disposable gloves, face masks, and similar products. Carl has been involved in the nonwovens disposables market for more than 35 years, has served on the INDA Board of Directors, and is involved in several industry committees. He has been granted seven patents related to machinery for producing disposable products and has written numerous articles for trade publications.
